"If you claim to know everything, you know nothing." Life and motherhood is a journey. There is no such thing as a perfect mother, wife, child, etc. It is, in fact, our little idiosyncrasies that make us interesting. I am a mother of two boys. At the moment, my oldest is two and my youngest is five months. I love them both deeply, but my oldest is known for his crazy antics. We are in the process of potty training and he is obsessed with his "shalalee." For example, last week he put his shalalee in a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. So I went ahead and called my pediatrician and she laughed. Wanting to make sure my son was not a pervert or potential streaker, she assured me that this is normal behavior at this stage. I don't know all the answers but I am honest and read a lot of books and take advice from other mothers. My new mission is to make new moms aware of all the dangerous chemicals in our everyday products and share my research on good, healthy substitutes. I want to be honest with you and share our trials and tribulations, as we raise our kids. "You are only as happy as your happiest child." So let's laugh, cry, vent and hopefully our journey will be a good one.
